There is one simple rule, above all others that I have been taught; not only as a police officer but long before too.
That rule is:
Never run to a fight.
Before you fight, you have to make sure that you must fight, that there is no other way and; make sure that you see where the danger lies. Up until now I have been strolling; taking in what's happening. Looking to see where the danger lies...

ReplyDeleteOkay I want to be positive about this but to be honest I do not have much love for the police and I'll tell you why... But first please understand that this is not a personal attack against YOU (the author of this blog).
ReplyDeleteOkay, you see the police will unquestioningly follow orders set about by government, they will often break very serious LAWS in order to do so! I'll take one example that I take very seriously. The example I speak of now is drugs! You sir will smash down doors and kidnap people and steal their property, just because the government says the people must not consume a certain substance! I don't care what that substance may be, it is irrelevant!
The facts are that this goes against reason, logic and SCIENCE! Science has proven without a doubt that cannabis for example is much safer than alcohol and tobacco! Just see the work of professor david nut. Now with that said it doesn't even matter anyway because it is IMMORAL to dictate what somebody does with their own body! You may think it dangerous or stupid but that again is irrelevant! People have a RIGHT to decide what they do with their fundamental property ie the body!
I do not know your stance on drugs and I do not know if you have fought for the people and their RIGHTS to live how they choose! Perhaps you have and if that is the case I applaud you and I will support you 100%!
Drugs is not the only issue, I would say this goes for prostitution and a whole host of similar "offenses". The job of the police is NOT to protect us from ourselves! It is to protect our freedoms and liberties! Yet more and more they are there to take them away!
I even had police force their way into my home because my partner and I had an unassisted home birth and wanted to be left alone! Our son was very healthy and they came in anyway followed by midwives who "battered" our son! (any treatment or care without consent is battery) The police stood by and allowed them to do it until I mentioned they need consent! Then they all left sharpish! But not before threatening my family with the social services!
Think what you like about our choices and lifestyle, that is your opinion and like arseholes everyone has one! But to use force against us because you do not agree is wrong and immoral.
There needs to be a big big change within our system. We need to start respecting the rights of everyone to live how they choose! It has become beyond a joke! Hopefully you understand where I'm coming from and think about it some.

Well said.
DeletePeace.
We are to embrace positive and constructive change.
ReplyDeleteWe are to embrace all those who come to see what is going on in our beloved country.
We are to be of one body, in Christ.
Forgive yesterday and let us pull together and set about cleansing our country of so much evil and rebuilding a good and decent future for our children and their children. God help us.
Amen
And if this turns out to be some devious trap (nothing surprises me any longer), so be it. We may only ever act 'in good faith'.
